About Me
I’ve built my career across estimating, sales, engineering, production, and entrepreneurship. Over more than 12 years in engineering and manufacturing, that experience has given me a broad view of how customer requirements, technical decisions, and operating priorities connect.
I began in mechanical engineering because I’ve always enjoyed understanding how things work and turning ideas into something practical. Over time, my interests expanded to the organization behind the work: how priorities are established, how teams coordinate, and how decisions affect delivery and business performance.
Experience Across Engineering and Operations
My responsibilities have included reviewing technical work, supporting production, resolving manufacturing issues, and coordinating with customers, suppliers, shop supervisors, plant leadership, and company executives.
At Redman, my work has included selecting a replacement engineering calculations program after the previous program was deprecated. I also prepared engineering calculations for the company’s 2026 ASME audit, supporting retention of its ASME stamp. These responsibilities connected engineering decisions to the tools and qualifications the business depends on.
At Genesis Technology Inc., I led product development and coordinated suppliers, contracted developers, assembly, and installation. Our team deployed 28 cash-payment machines across seven ARCO sites. My responsibilities included project purchasing and management of an authorized $600,000 project budget.
These experiences have shaped my approach to leadership: establishing clear responsibilities, understanding the constraints, making informed decisions, and maintaining coordination through execution.
A Broader Business Perspective
Founding AKB Enterprise LLC brought additional responsibilities in pricing, customer relationships, equipment decisions, sourcing, production, inventory, marketing, and fulfillment. It gave me direct experience with the relationship between what a business can produce, what customers want, and the resources required to deliver it.
I am currently pursuing my MBA to strengthen my understanding of strategy, finance, operations, and organizational leadership. Alongside it, I am pursuing AI certifications to deepen my understanding of how AI can support business decisions, improve workflows, and strengthen operations.
My interest in technology remains practical: understanding where it can improve performance and what its adoption requires from the organization.
My Career Direction
My focus is on broader responsibility for operations, teams, and business performance. I want to contribute to decisions about priorities, resources, investment, and growth, while helping teams translate those decisions into results.
Manufacturing experience, entrepreneurial work, and continued business education all contribute to that direction. Building and experimentation remain important to me, providing a practical perspective on the products, tools, and capabilities a business chooses to develop.
