Work Experience
Emcor – Redman Equipment & Manufacturing Co.
At Redman, I work across engineering, manufacturing, and customer coordination to move industrial equipment projects from design into production. My responsibilities include engineering review (including calculations and design), production coordination, customer communication, and resolving issues that affect project progress.
I also serve as backup to the Chief Engineer, assigning jobs, reviewing and approving engineering work and providing direction on manufacturing questions. This requires balancing customer requirements, technical standards, shop capabilities, and project commitments.
Pacific Standard Environmental
At Pacific Standard Environmental (PSE), I helped develop the company’s first in-house continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS) cabinet. The project added a cabinet-development capability to a business already providing maintenance, repair, and support for emissions-monitoring equipment.
Working alongside one other engineer, I contributed from design through construction and the first customer installation. My responsibilities combined mechanical and electrical design, purchasing documentation, product cost analysis, and practical decisions about how the equipment would be installed and serviced.
Genesis Technology Inc.
At Genesis Technology Inc., also known as GTI Petro, I led the development, manufacturing, and deployment of cash-payment machines for ARCO gas stations. The machines allowed customers to select a pump and prepay for fuel with cash beside the pumps.
Building on an existing product concept and earlier designs, I took responsibility for physical design, software requirements, supplier selection, assembly supervision, and installation coordination. My role brought together contracted developers, fabricators, company service personnel, and construction and electrical contractors.
Brask Inc.
At Brask, I worked on shell-and-tube heat-exchanger projects, combining mechanical design with estimating, customer communication, and shipment support. My work included engineering drawings, calculations, bills of materials, and quotations based on customer specifications and applicable ASME and TEMA requirements.
Alongside my engineering responsibilities, I served as lead estimator with two people reporting to me. I also trained and mentored junior engineers.
Hardy Machine and Design Inc.
At Hardy Machine & Design, I worked across customer order coordination, engineering drawings, and machining support. I managed customer purchase orders and communicated product designs to machinists, helping connect customer requirements with the work performed in the shop.
I also served as secondary quality manager, adding quality support to my engineering responsibilities. This role gave me practical experience with how engineering communication and inspection support the manufacture of finished components.
